F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Question

  • 1) I can’t access LOLA, I can’t remember my username and password
If you are a user with a “Customer” role (Fom Industrie VIPAREA user), use the access credentials you received by email. If you do not remember your password, open the URL below and click on LOST PASSWORD:
    http://viparea.fomindustrie.com/areaVip.aspx

If you are a LOLA user (Operator/Head Workshop role), check that your manager has sent you an email and/or printout of this type, containing your username and provisional access password.
  • 2) I can access LOLA but I can’t see any machines
If the license has only just been activated, make sure that your Fom Industrie machine tool’s PC is connected to the internet and that the HMI SW (FST CUT or FST CAM or FST LINE) is open on the machine’s PC.
Please contact your network Administrator to enable the following sites to be reached, from the machine:
    https://viparea.fomindustrie.com
    https://lola.fomindustrie.com
    https://lolaapi.fomindustrie.com
If not, connect to the internet and run the FST SW, then check LOLA again to see if the data is visible.
  • 3) I can access LOLA, my machine’s PC is connected to the internet, the SW is open, but I can’t see any machines in LOLA
If your machine’s LOLA license was not activated recently, check that it has not expired. If more than one license has been purchased, check the expiry date of the LOLA license for each machine, by accessing VIPAREA:
    http://viparea.fomindustrie.com/areaVip.aspx
If the license for one or more machines has expired, purchase and/or renew the LOLA license by selecting the machine in question and then proceeding to payment of the license. After this has been done, access LOLA again to check.
  • 4) I have checked points 1, 2 and 3 but I am still not receiving data from the machine
If the problems persist, please send a LOLA support request:
    • by telephone on + 39 0541 832 777 (FOM Service hotline)
    • by sending an e-mail to support@fomservice.com
    indicating:
    1. your VIPAREA username, e.g. usr0043
    2. serial number of the machine for which the LOLA license has been activated
    3. preferred time you wish to be contacted
  • 5) My problem is not among the ones listed
Send a service request by filling in the form found in the menu under the item “Support”, if possible attaching a screenshot to describe the problem.
